On Sunday, March 22nd, Coach Paul, Coach Erika, Scott Frost and Jay Gray attended a seminar given by Greg Jackson who is the coach of UFC stars George St. Pierre and Rashad Evans. Everyone who attended enjoyed the seminar have already incorporated what they learned into the classes at Fearless Fitness.

Five Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters out of Fearless Fitness Martial Arts Training and Development Center in Foster City made their debut at the Grapplers Quest event in Del Mar, CA on Saturday, March 21, 2009.
Scott brought home gold in the Men's Middleweight Executive No-Gi Beginner Absolute division. He also took a silver medal home in the Men's Middleweight No-Gi Beginner division.
Wayne Wight of San Mateo took the gold medal for the Men's Middleweight Executive No-Gi Beginner division, beating his first opponent soundly with an Americana in the first minute.
Janette (Jay) Gray, a nurse out of San Mateo, CA didn't place in the Women's No-Gi Advanced division but beautifully fended off multiple takedowns before succumbing to an arm bar.
Foster City resident Patrick McKinney had a solid match against a much bigger opponent losing 5-3 in a last minute reversal. Coach Paul Tosetti was overheard saying, "Patrick wasn't in the heavy weight division, he was in the MONSTER's division," referring to massive size of the competitors in the Men's Superweight, No-Gi Novice division.
Wilfred Delbario battled through the Men's featherweight, No-Gi Novice and Novice Absolute divisions. All of his matches were dynamic and exciting keeping spectators on their feet.
The Grappler's Quest event was held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. MMA stars Joe "Daddy" Stevenson, Diego Sanchez, Brandan Vera and Gina Carano attended the event cheering on the competitors, greeting fans and signing autographs.

Instructor Marc Wong, a Grand Champion 3rd degree Black Belt, is now teaching Kung Fu at Fearless Fitness on Saturdays from 9:00 am — 10:00 am. Ages 8 and up are welcome.
