Foundation and Fundamentals of Kicking

Taught by Coach Paul

From the "practical to the absurd" Coach Paul will demonstrate and explain how to go from a basic kick such as the Front Kick to a more complicated kick such as the Round House Reverse kick.

You will not only learn how to break kicks down to execute them properly, you will also learn how to do it with speed, accuracy and power.


Stretching Seminar

Coach Paul Tosetti explains how your nervous system, not your muscles, limits your ability to stretch. He will demonstrate how to trick your nervous system into allowing for deeper stretches. All Fearless students are encouraged to attend.


Fight Day at Fearless

11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Fearless Fitness will be hosting a unique open mat sparring session. The gym will be separated into two areas: weapons sparring and unarmed combat. Come find an opponent, agree on the parameters of the fight and have some fun. All types of fighting will be allowed as long as it is conducted in a safe and controlled manner. Weapons will be wood and nylon wasters, no steel. Students from Tomizaki's Champions and Davenriche European Martial Arts School have been invited to compete.

Fighting styles include: MMA, Boxing, San Shou, Wrestling, Grappling, Longsword, Sidesword, Halberd, Dagger and Messer.

You must sign up in advance for this event. There will be a $10 fee for all non-Fearless students.

Join us at 1:30 pm for a post-fight potluck party.

Coach Paul put together a team to compete at Grappling X in Elk Grove, CA. Tiffany Ho, Jacob Goldfarb, Jay Gray and Coach Wayne Wight represented Fearless Fitness, grappling with competitors from across the state. Coach Wayne brought home a gold medal and Jacob Goldfarb took 3rd in his division. Tiffany and Jay competed in the men's division in their weight classes and both performed exceptionally well.

Messer Seminar Video Highlights

On February 6, 2010, Coach Paul taught a four hour seminar on one of the most common and brutal weapons of the Medieval and Renaissance era: the Messer. Highlights of the seminar included grappling and some very cool disarming techniques.

Fearless Fitness Grapplers Take Home Gold Medals at Utimate Internationals

On May 29, 2010 Wayne Wight and Dan Chandler competed in the grappling division at the Ultimate Internationals martial arts competition in Santa Clara, CA. Both competitors took home gold medals in their divisions, Dan completing three submissions via choke holds and Wayne earning a tight decision victory over an opponent 60 pounds heavier than himself.

Fitness Wave, the mobile Hydrostatic Body Composition Testing System, will be parked at Fearless Fitness on Thursday, March 25th beginning at 5:00 pm. This is Fitness Wave's third visit to Fearless. We will continue inviting them to visit us several times each year so those testing can measure their progress over time.


MMA Seminar: Submission Saturday

Coach Paul is taking requests and will teach the submissions you have been wanting to learn. You must sign up for this event in advance and inform Coach Paul of three submissions you are interested in learning.

Note: Depending on how many people sign up for the class, Coach Paul may not be able to teach all three of the submissions you submit.
