Coach Paul will be teaching a four week staff class focusing on the various techniques and skills required to understand and use the weapon, with the potential for sparring, if so desired. This class is not in a particular style but will be drawing techniques and theory from all parts of the world.
Some staffs will be available to borrow as well as fencing masks if needed, although you are encouraged to bring your own weapon and helmet. Hand protection is optional.
This is a four week trial class. If the demand is high enough, the class will take a permanent time slot on our schedule.

Coaches Erika and Melissa were featured on Foster City Patch again talking about how to burn those Thanksgiving calories.
As children begin to have visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, many of you are worrying about the 5-8 pounds that can creep on during the holidays. Sadly, many other adults are worrying about how to put food on the table at all.
The coaches at Fearless Fitness have come up with a plan to help with both problems. We will make a donation to Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger relief charity, for every Fearless Fitness Intensity Training (FFIT) class you take from November 29th - December 22nd. Our goal with the Donate Your Burned Calories program is to ensure that you don't have to add "lose holiday weight" to your New Year's Resolutions for 2011 and also to help put food on the table for families in need.
We will be putting the holiday tree up over Thanksgiving weekend. During the challenge, each day you come in and take a FFIT class, you can take a "red envelope" that we will have available and tie it on the tree. This will give the entire school a visual gauge of the donations being made to Feeding America.
In addition to the Donate Your Burned Calories program, we will be hosting our annual holiday challenge. All students are welcome to measure in prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. You will then be measured in again the first week of the New Year. The goal is to maintain your measurements throughout the holiday season, which for this time of year is the equivalent of actually losing weight!
As usual, we will do everything we can to help you master the challenge!
Can't get to Fearless? No problem. Join FFIT@home for just $24.95 per month and save 50% off of the regular price of $49.95 with the coupon code "WINTERSPECIAL". FFIT@home will donate $5 to Feeding America for each new student who joins before December 10th. So donate your burned calories and save money at the same time.
By joining FFIT@home, you will receive 4 brand new workouts each week, plus guidelines that show you how to enjoy your favorite "Worth It" foods without losing control.
Make this the year you don't have to add "Lose Weight" to your New Year's Resolution. Join now at www.FFIT.TV.
